  A wonderfully entertaining and festive event which was conceived with the aim of underlining the link of Barcelona with the world of motorcycles, and to keep alive the memory of such a significant industry for Catalonia.
  The rally starts with a lap round the old Montjuïc circuit and ends in Passeig de Lluis Companys, with a wide display of motorcycles and activities for all the family: children’s workshops, tributes to outstanding people from the history of the motorcycle.

  A unique opportunity to see motorcycles with over 30 years of history run through the streets of Barcelona.

  Endurance trials in general and 24-hour races in particular, are competitions designed to show off the potential of top-class motorbikes. They also appeal to all motorcycling fans.   The clarinet is the star of this musical evening. In 20th century, this instrument developed partly thanks to the influence of jazz music.   In recent years we have experienced a revolution in the progress made in science and technology. This is a result of the convergence of various technology disciplines which previously worked independently. These are nanotechnology, biotechnology, information and communication technology and cognitive sciences (NBIC). Their convergence is causing an authentic revolution in such different fields as construction, transport, agriculture, medicine, education and art. Designed by the Mariscal studio – creator of the mascot -, the exhibition presents a visual itinerary of the evolution and different aspects that have made this particular Catalan sheepdog become a universal symbol of the city.
