Buzz on meetings along the Seine. The Seine has all the attractions of an original and charming setting for professional events. From venues on the banks of the Seine to the barges that float along it or the boats that sail it, there are thousands of ways to devise an event on the water.

Venues to hire - Exceptional venues on the banks of the Seine
The banks of the Seine offer exceptionally diverse settings for organizing a professional event. The Ponton de
la Rapée opened in autumn 2009 and is the biggest barge in the capital with impressive dimensions: 62 metres
long and 11 metres wide. Located on the eponymous quay, between the Austerlitz and Charles-de-Gaulle bridges,
it reserves huge spaces for professional events: a 100 m2 seminar room, a 300 m2 reception and dining area and
a 430 m2 terrace. With the offer of such a privileged setting, the Ponton de la Rapée is one of the not-to-bemissed
places when organizing an event on the Seine! The Showcase is ideally located on the banks of the
Seine under the Pont Alexandre-III (bridge) and is already well-known as a club and concert hall. Spaces for
professional events are available here. This atypical 2,000 m2 venue under vaulted archways has many possibilities.
The club can host up to 1,500 people for a cocktail reception or 400 for a sit-down dinner according to how the
room is set up. Inside the Showcase, guests can enjoy different areas; the Galerie Live with a fully equipped stage,
the Galerie Centrale, a large space with a bar; and the Galerie Lounge, a cosier setting with sofas and armchairs.
With the Batofar, it is possible to organize a professional event on a boat! With a strong reputation as an atypical
concert venue, the various areas of the Batofar make up a large surface area. In total, the Batofar comprises
300 m2, including a 75 m2 concert hall. The four bars of the Batofar each provide a different atmosphere.
The terrace, covered and heated during winter, means guests can enjoy an unobstructed view of the capital in
a friendly atmosphere.

Events on the Seine
Canauxrama presents a fleet of four boats available for private hire, which operate along the Seine as well as
the Canal Saint-Martin and the Marne. The 22-metre-long Gavroche can host receptions for 80 people in the
summer and 50 people in the winter. It is equipped with a dance floor and a large terrace. The Alliance is the
biggest at 35-metres-long and 5-metres-wide. According to how it is set up it can host cocktail receptions (120 people),
lunches or dinners (100 people for dancing, 120 people for non-dancing), and meetings (up to 120 people).

The Marcel-Carné is open for receptions (cocktails for 80 to 130 people) and meetings (up to 80 people). On board,
guests can enjoy a summer terrace located at the front of the boat.

The Compagnie des Bateaux à roue has numerous available spaces for the organization of professional events, from
small and personal spaces to large ones. The Mississippi is a real two-story venue on the water, with a surface
area of 130 m2 split over two levels. Here, cocktail receptions for 70 people can be organized or even sit-down
meals for 60 people. The Tennessee is 50-metres-long and 9-metres-wide and like the Mississippi, it is a wheel-driven
boat. Its large dimensions as well as the variety of ways it can be set out offer numerous possibilities. 120 people
can set sail on this boat for a cocktail reception or for a sit-down meal. The 54-metre-long and 9-metre-wide

Clipper Paris boasts impressive dimensions and is a new genre of yacht. This venue, with fine, resolutely modern
decor, can host 60 to 150 people for a cocktail buffet. The River Palace is very stylish: large bay-windows and crystal
chandeliers herald elegance and refinement. Ideal for large events, it can host up to 220 guests for a sit-down
dinner or a cocktail reception. This year, the Compagnie des Bateaux à roue is offering original new packages.
Breakfast cruises, organized all week long from 8.30am to 10.30am, are a great way for guests to enjoy a gourmet
breakfast while travelling along the water. On Sunday, a brunch is also now on offer, during a 2 hr 20 min. cruise
for a minimum of 25 people. Lastly, the Tennessee offers lounge cruises for those who prefer the charm of an
evening cruise (until midnight) with sweet and savoury delicacies.

The Yachts de Paris presents a range of luxury yachts of different styles and sizes. The smallest events can take
place on board the Cachemire, which is also one of the most elegant. It can host 12 guests for a sit-down dinner
in a room with a fireplace or 15 people for a cocktail. For larger receptions, the Victoria and the Acajou offer similar
possibilities. The first, marked by an art deco style and bold red, brown and silver tones, can host 72 people for
a sit-down dinner, 90 people for a cocktail reception and can also be adapted for seminars. The second, classic
and refined, has been part of the Yachts de Paris fleet since 1976. The Don Juan II was redesigned in 2007 and
is very charming. It has immaculate, cosy decor, inspired by Dutch and English style yet it still retains elements
of French luxury. It has Bernardaud tableware, Philippe Hurel furniture and is equipped to host 52 people for a sitdown
meal or 60 people for a cocktail reception. The most impressive is the monumental Paquebot. With a
grand 700 m2 surface area, the Paquebot can adapt to the largest capacities. You can host a dinner-cruise here
for over 400 people, a seminar for more than 250 people, dancing parties for 170 people or even a cocktail reception
for 800 people.

Joce offers two boats for private events. The boat Alizé is made up of three modular levels, representing a total
surface area of over 500 m2. The panoramic deck, the below-deck and the terrace deck constitute different spaces
suitable for various events. While the terrace deck is only suitable for cocktail receptions (for 250 people), the
panoramic deck and below-deck are particularly suitable for banquets (for around 150 people) and meetings (for
40 to 80 people). The Boer 2 barge can also be hired for professional events (cocktail receptions, meetings).

The Compagnie de la Seine provides two boats, the Paris en Scène as well as the Capitaine Fracasse. 120 people
can meet on board the Paris en Scène, for an evening cocktail buffet including a two-hour cruise. A dinner-cruise
on board the Capitaine Fracasse also offers the opportunity to enjoy the most beautiful monuments of Paris over
a business meal.

Incentive activities
The Seine and the canals: a playground for all!
The quays of the Seine provide a clear and unique view of the capital, whether you choose to enjoy them on
foot, by bike or when jogging. For a great way to have fun on the Seine, the ingenious Nautiques Événements
creates river rallies, for 10 to 300 people. Designed as a real cultural challenge (participants go on a discovery
of the historical side of Paris), the quest takes place on the boats as well as on land when at a stop. An activity
around the Seine which requires team work and speed and which is, above all, fun for everyone!
