The vision of the new age of design art and innovations will be presented on the exclusive two-day event Future Now, Vol. I. at Monte Mulini Hotel, on 4th and 5th September 2010.
The participants of the event will be transferred to the magical world of innovations, design, science, technology, education, musical art and, of course, good intentions through the presentation of the works by the world-famous and award-winning industrial designer Ross Lovegrove.
On Saturday, 4th September, a charity dinner entitled Dom Perignon Seven Sensualities Taste Experience will be held, with the main chef of Monte Mulini Hotel, Tomislav GretiÄ. The funds raised at charity dinner will be entirely earmarked for the activities of the scientific-educational center of the ViĹĄnjan astronomical observatory, for the purchase of mobile container laboratory for students and guest professors - mentors. The dinner will be enhanced with Bizet''s âCarmenâ performed by the famous mezzo-soprano Dragana del Monaco and produced by Clara Gisele Pastor from Vienna.
Later in the evening, the guests will be able to see the multimedia works presented by the famous designer and visionary Ross Lovegrove that stimulate the deep change of the world. Ross Lovegrove is the winner of the numerous prestigious international awards and his works have been published and exhibited worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Axis Center in Tokyo, Pompidou Center in Paris, the Museum of Design from London. Inspired by the logic and beauty of nature, his design is based on the "holy trinity" of technology, material science and intelligent organic form which enables many people to recognize the estetic expression of the 21st century.
The aim of the Future Now, Vol. I. event is to introduce the wider public to the real meaning of design, culture and creativity and to raise awareness on how important, globally influential persons can positively function and influence on the image of Croatia in the world.
