The world of sport for professional events. In Paris, it’s easy to give soul, prestige and the energy of sport to an event. Magnificent stadiums, racecourses, the biggest sports centres and golf courses are open to events whilst sports activities take place between sporting events and visits to the most prestigious sports venues.

Restaurants
In the equestrian world of Parisian racecourses The most prestigious Parisian racecourses offer restaurants that allow you to watch the races while enjoying fine dining. It is possible to organize a seminar at the Hippodrome de Longchamp on race days, by means of a “turnkey” concept: the “Race Park”. A private room can be reserved for a working morning before lunch in the panoramic room. The Hippodrome d’Auteuil offers a similar concept. At the Hippodrome de Vincennes, private events vary according to whether or not it is a race day. On race days, you can have lunch or dinner at one of the racecourse’s three panoramic restaurants. A visit to the stables can be arranged for a minimum of 20 people. The Roquépine and Course rooms, which serve as rooms for meetings or cocktail receptions, can accommodate up to 250 people. The Hippodrome de Vincennes has a surface area of 5,000 m2, which can hold 3,000 people
on non-race days.

Major Parisian sports venues
Life at the major sports venues follows the rhythm of events, training sessions and other tournaments that take place there. At lunchtime and in the evening they become great places for organizing events. This is the case, for example, at the Stade de France, France’s biggest stadium, which hosts football and rugby matches among other events. The stadium boxes, designed by Andrée Putman, are open to private parties. In all, there are 172 VIP boxes with various capacities (10, 12, 16 or 28 seats) which constitute rooms that open out onto a private garden, where cocktail receptions and dinners can be held. Another option is the “Premiere seats”, not far from the VIP area, where you can watch events at the stadium. In the south-west of Paris, the no-less famous Parc des Princes, is home to the PSG Parisian football club and offers multiple spaces, adaptable to all types of event. Behind the scenes, the players’ hall can be adapted for
coffee breaks; the PSG changing rooms can be transformed into a meeting room to accommodate 40 people, and the PSG club house can host 75 people for a meeting or 180 for a cocktail reception. The stadium auditorium, equipped with a stage and screen, can be adapted to meetings and conferences as well as film screenings for140 guests. Even the arena can be used for events and meals in the open air! For a very VIP evening, you can organize events such as meetings, product launches, cocktail receptions or dinners, in the reception rooms of the presidential stand. Among these rooms, the Carré PSG, near to the official stand, offers an unobstructed view of the playing field. The Open rooms, with a surface area of 375 m2 can be used as one large space or divided into two: here, it is possible to organize a meeting (80 people per room) or a reception (for up to 400 guests); lastly, located on the second floor, the First rooms can be adapted to suit different types of events: meetings, receptions or meals. And to finish, next to the stands, the Club Paris, with a bar and a surface area of 630 m2, is the ideal place to host events for up to 680 guests (for a cocktail reception). The Auteuil club is a great venue for trendy events such as product launches or fashion shows in a room with walls covered in graffiti honouring PSG.

You can also organize an event at the Roland-Garros stadium, the birthplace of the biggest clay court tennis tournament in the world. Several spaces are available for private hire during the French Tennis Internationals, either for a day or for a fortnight. Available for a fortnight, Le Village is made up of 19 tents, each of which offers a 50 m2 room and a 25 m2 terrace. Court n°1 is another space of 70 m2, located right in the heart of the Roland-Garros stadium, a few steps from the Philippe-Chatrier court. Court n°2 can accommodate 70 people per day and has access to the private presidential box of the Philippe-Chatrier court. The Club des loges, the Cercle and the Galerie Borotra are spaces which are also available for private hire for a fortnight. There are 5 spaces that are available for private hire for a day. The Salon des mousquetaires is located within the Philippe-Chatrier court. With a surface area of 200 m2, this room enables 125 visitors to enjoy matches a few metres away from the players. The Salon Paris with a view over the Philipe-Chatrier court can accommodate 100 people; the Open Club, a space to relax and enjoy a meal, is a gourmet restaurant which you can hire; the Chelem and the Grand Chelem, located on the training courts, are privatized tents opening out onto patios to provide privileged and discrete havens of greenery.

Another mecca for sport, the Palais Omnisport de Paris Bercy hosts major sports events for all types of sports: the French basketball cup and the Elite French athletics championship as well as supercross, judo and martial arts. Located on the edge of the Seine, its pyramid shape is covered by a lawn. For a privileged way to watch sports events it is possible to reserve a box (1 private room + 18 seats) and cocktail buffets can be organized.

Incentive activities - Think sport!
Paris is a city that can easily be discovered while doing some sport. Jogging is a popular pastime in many parks and woods like the Bois de Boulogne. Organized or self-guided walking tours are a great way of exploring the capital on foot; or explore by bicycle with Vélib’. Sporting activities are also offered by organizations like Nautiques événements, where sporting activities are offered according to different skill areas. Rowing, for example, which requires coordination, discipline and communication contributes to internal cooperation, the process of collective action and intelligence. Tennis fans will love visiting the behind-the-scenes of Roland-Garros. Guided tours of the venue take place in French or English from Tuesday to Friday and last just over an hour. With special access to all areas, like the players changing rooms and an account of the history of the place, this legendary stadium reveals all its secrets to visitors. Visits to the Stade de France enable the public to relive the excitement of great matches. The presidential boxes, the changing rooms and even the famous corridor that players walk through to reach the pitch are open to visitors. The visit also includes a tour of the museum, where the history of the Stade de France is documented along with the exhibition of cult objects like replicas of the most prestigious trophies. City Segway Tours were the first company in the world to propose tours by segway. These tours take place in English, in small groups, and last around 4 hours.
