The jeweller’s Fred opens in the Marais.The French jewellery house Fred moves to the Marais and offers a personal and laid-back approach to luxury
just a stone’s throw from the Place des Vosges.
Like the boutique in Place Vendôme, this new jewellery store is
light and airy thus enhancing the wonderful pieces of jewellery. There are the unisex pieces that have long
been a speciality of Fred, but also exclusive limited edition pieces, the first of which is the Whistle in white
gold of which only 75 have been created and on which are engraved the famous phrase "If you need me, just
whistle", whispered by Lauren Bacall to Humphrey Bogart in the film The Big Sleep in 1946. The Marais boutique
is open on Sunday, for walkers, impulsive buyers and those who haven’t yet done their shopping.

The Maison Jovoy, exceptional perfumes and olfactory workshops
In his boutique of the same name, François Hénin, the proprietor of Jovoy perfumes, unveils some fifteen
exceptional French, English and Italian fragrances, in unique bottles often decorated by hand. A mixture of a
traditional perfume store and a concept store, this boutique offers the opportunity to discover or rediscover
forgotten fragrances which it updates for modern tastes, as well as limited edition perfumes. It stocks brands
like Amouage, originating from the sultanate of Oman, Dorin, official supplier to the court of Versailles in 1780,
E. Coudray, founded in Paris in the 19th century, or the reissue of the eaux de toilettes of the couturier Jacques
Fath, among others. Contemporary fragrances are not forgotten, with the creations of the Japanese designer
Masaki Matsushima, or those of Parisian jeweller Poiray.
On the next floor, François Hénin conducts olfactory workshops, featuring the creation of bespoke perfumes, a
unique souvenir of a visit to Paris, and the possibility also of bottling these bespoke perfumes in bottles of
