Germany’s second largest airline is again taking on more staff. Air Berlin is already looking to recruit 700 flight attendants and 120 co-pilots.
It is expected that they will be based at the Air Berlin locations of Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Münster/Osnabrück, Nuremberg, Paderborn-Lippstadt and Stuttgart in Germany, as well as Basel/Mühlhausen and Zurich in Switzerland.
In addition to having a valid pilot’s licence and a medical certificate of fitness for flying duties, co-pilots should already have some flying experience and ideally type rating for Airbus or Boeing. Other requirements include very good knowledge of German and English, an unrestricted passport, a class B driving licence and e-mail access.
Those applying for the post of flight attendant must have completed their professional training, preferably in the service industry, and have very good command of German and English. They should be willing to relocate, as well as being flexible and enjoying the role of host.
Anyone interested in working above the clouds will find further information about job requirements, the selection process and online application forms on Air Berlin’s website at www.airberlin.com/jobs.
