Organic well-being. Parisian organic well-being can be found in hairdressers, manicure salons and beauty salons. Everyone can treat themselves to organic beauty products, and the treatments offered in these salons are also certified natural and organic.

All these establishments also seek to reduce their impact on the environment in their respect for the natural world.

Organic treatments in Paris

The capital offers lots of choice for treating yourself and boosting your sense of well-being. And when you can do this with natural products, respecting the environment, then the pleasure is even greater! This is the case at La Maison Dr.Hauschka which, a few months ago, opened its first salon in the capital, in
rue de Charonne. Overlooking a flowery courtyard, it offers everyone a complete selection of face and body treatments carried out by natural estheticians using treatments prepared from natural ingredients. Even the spaces in harmony with nature as the architecture of the building and its interior decoration have been designed to respect the environment as much as possible. For its part, the Spa L’Occitane situated on rue de Sèvres also seeks to limit its impact on the environment by using ecological materials and by working to economize energy consumption. All the treatments and massages are based around a natural element, like almond or shea butter, and are an extension of its skincare products.

Well-being also applies to hair care and several hair salons in Paris specialize in gentle plant colouring and natural and organic conditioners. At Graine de beauté, all clients can benefit from a series of essential oil- and plantbased conditioners and notably all hair colours are exclusively plant-based, prepared with powdered cloves, nutmeg or saffron … In the Bastille district, the place to go is Coiffure et Nature. Specialists in plant hair colouring for eight years, these hairdressers respect “the ecology of the hair” and treat it with the utmost care and attention. And all the shampoos used are organic!
And to be beautiful and organic right down to your fingertips, salons like Beauté Zen and La Forme d’Anvers offer treatments and make-up sessions using only natural and organic products. Make-up sessions, manicures, waxing … everything to pamper you! And between Bastille and Nation, the new space Peauzdetente mixes natural treatments and workshops for learning the arts of massage or how to make your own perfume.

Organic cosmetics in Paris

Today’s well-being cosmetics are not only natural, they are also organic and sometimes carry a fair trade label certification. In Paris, several shops offer these products as well as advice and books on organic well-being. The shops Biocoop, Naturalia or La Vie Claire stock regular products that we use every day. You can find everything here just like in an ordinary supermarket, except here it is organic! Well-being fans will find all the necessary beauty products: shampoo, soap, make-up, essential oils for the body, etc. And to provide an even wider selection, the Naturalia shops have created Naturalia Beauté Bio spaces, devoted exclusively to beauty and well-being.

With its eight Parisian stores, Artisans du Monde is today the leading network specializing in fair trade. Based on dialogue, transparency and respect, the aim of this type of commerce is to attain greater fairness and contribute to sustainable development. Among its large selection of products this shop offers a range of well-being cosmetics with natural ingredients, which are good for the body and for the world around us. For its part, the shop Aroma-Zone seeks to promote the benefits of essential oils. The shop has a wide range of products, but also offers advice and workshops to learn how to make these natural cosmetics oneself. In the 7th arrondissement, Mademoiselle Bio, the first eco shop for natural and organic cosmetics, has opened with products for men, women and children. Another fair trade and organic address is Nopeg, in the heart of the Montorgueil district. The 100 m2 space stocks all the leading organic cosmetic brands. And opened a year ago  n rue Guénégaud is the shop Aépure which offers a large selection of natural cosmetic and well-being products. As for the Biothèque du Marais, it is devoted to beauty, with organic cosmetics, and to health, with its organic dietary complements and herbal teas. A large selection of books on organic treatments is available and it regularly offers sessions with a naturopath or an organic-esthetician. Finally, Sephora, the chain of big beauty shops, offers a range of exclusively organic products amongst its regular well-being and cosmetic products. All well-being fans will be delighted!
