All state museums of Belarus will organize the exhibitions dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from the Nazi invaders, Deputy Culture Minister of Belarus Vasily Chernik told a press conference on the efforts to perpetuate the memory of the fatherland defenders and preserve the memory of the victims of war.

In Belarus, there are 154 state museums. During the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation each of them will run thematic expositions.

However, the main event, according to Vasily Chernik, will be the opening of the Museum of the Great Patriotic War, which serves the educational purposes and performs a high humanistic mission.
